[sorry, leon!! flynn's salty mood prevents him from seeing that as anything but being a brat.
those silent steps coupled with flynn's preoccupation with treating his head make him completely unaware any movement takes places. needless to say, he starts when leon's voice suddenly comes from another spot than it previously had. when had he--? ugh, damn sneaky brat!!
any chance of playing it off slips away with that startling, too. flynn sighs while lowering his hand.]
You suspect correctly. I haven't been able to see for some time now.
[He doesn't ask the obvious questions. He doesn't ask why Flynn is out and about on his own. It would be galling for Leon, too, to have to depend on other people--it was, while he was unable to use his legs. He won't ask that at all, because he's pretty sure he has a good idea why, and why he'd try to hide it too.
It's a weakness, and one that other people can't know about.
So instead, he just crosses his arms.]
I see.
[And that's that, he'll leave it at that.]
Was there a particular destination you were aspiring to, or are you simply wandering aimlessly in an attempt to grow used to your lack of sight?
[flynn actively expects that sort of response. why is he out? isn't dangerous? does he need help? people have been kind about it, but their kindness has made flynn feel about as useless as it gets. knights cannot burden so many others so constantly. they need to stand on their own feet. suddenly not being able to do so is a hard truth to swallow. he won't ever say he hates this sort of kindness, but... he does. he hates how it reminds him of a weakness that cannot seem to be gotten rid of.
when leon doesn't many any such commentary, it comes as a pleasant surprise. someone like leon might understand better than most the effect of saying such things. huh, maybe this encounter won't be all that unpleasant, after all.
some of the tension eases out of flynn's shoulders as he turns the direct leon's voice is now coming from.]
The latter. I've been attempting that ever since the initial onset of the blindness but cannot seem to make any progress whatsoever.
[the number of times he's nearly gotten a concussion while going to the bathroom... who knew walking a couple feet could be so dangerous!]

I CAN'T BELIEVE I MISSED THIS IN MY INBOX...
But he's just not the sort of person who would argue that. After all, he would do the same as Flynn in Flynn's place.]
Hm. It is possible that this place is interfering with more than merely your vision.
[Leon crosses his arms, thoughtful.]
It is unlikely that you would be unable to adapt after all of this time, even if a little.
