[So Karl doesn't even like that ice cream that much—not that he doesn't enjoy it, but it's not so high on his list of favourites that he'd go out of his way to get it—but he's wandering around, considering getting something to eat, and when he spots Leon in the store... Well, why not? He knows Leon probably isn't horribly fond of him, but he didn't seem to hate him either, so it shouldn't be a problem (or so Karl hopes).

And thus, he's stepping into the ice cream shop (... with his halberd, which might look a little out of place, but he's at least since taken Athena's advice to carry it on his back so as to free up a hand).]

Hey, Leon! I didn't know you worked here.

[Because the world wants you to make friends, Leon.

Karl doesn't bat an eye at Leon's words; he's not particularly surprised.]

Haha, all right, I got it.

[His eyes scan the display of ice cream. Hmm.]

... I don't know if I recognize all these flavours.

[Hey, Karl appreciates Leon being straightforward, even if he's a rude shit.]

... I'll stick with vanilla, then. That should be safe, right?

Well, it's hard to dislike vanilla... but yeah!

[Actually... hmm.]

I'll have two small vanillas... ah, both in bowls, if that's all right.

[Have you considered looking into another job, Leon...

In any case, Karl will be paying for his ice cream, before grabbing a spoon and one of his bowls.]

Thanks, Leon! You can have the other bowl. Consider it thanks for your service—and if you don't want it, you can just give it to the next customer.

[Some people don't care for ice cream, after all. (A part of Karl suspects that Leon might just throw it out, but eh.)

And with that, he's turning to leave. BYE, LEON.]
