you can't spell "alone" without "leon" ([personal profile] discard) wrote 2016-06-29 03:20 am (UTC)

[Memory lottery winner!!!

It's not like, at this point, Leon isn't familiar with what's happening here. This is a memory, a Tsurumaru memory, and for all of Tsurumaru's nonsense and ridiculousness, Leon isn't surprised to see such a tragic memory from him. He's a sword, after all. And from what Leon knows of swords...

It isn't an easy life.

Because it resonates. Tsurumaru trying so hard to save his young master, but unable to do anything... it resonates so painfully, because he can remember Chal's desperation when he'd tried to save him, tried to get him to do anything but what he ended up doing, but unable to do anything more than just talk.

Because he's a sword, of course.

It's a sharply painful realization, and Leon breathes out a shuddering breath before he rests his hand on Chal's hilt, ignoring his questioning noise, and looks at Tsurumaru--before he crouches next to him.]

...Are you going to be sick?

[Comforting!!]
